About Me

Hi, I'm Lynette and I Hate Fibro.  It has plagued me for many years.

Fibro and I are not friends although we have been together for just over 10 years.  I have been married for over 25 years to a wonderful man and together we have three equally charming teenage boys plus a dog we love to spoil.  We live in SW Florida and I usually watch the palm trees sway from my bedroom window.  Over the years I have tried everything that is available to treat my fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, migraines and bladder pain.  I have been to so many specialists I can't even count.  When all is said and done, I was no better and no worse.

I am 47 years old and I realized I have given too many years of my life to fibro and I want it back!

Thankfully I found out that eating lots and lots of antioxidants helps.  Who knew?  The increased antioxidants are helping me fight the battle of fibro in my body.

I am seeing more positive changes with this increased antioxidants.  Right now I eat well over 150,000 ORAC fn antioxidants per day.  The average individual gets just 3,000.

The easiest and most affordable way to get that amount of antioxidants is in a cold pressed dark chocolate that I found.  You can shop your grocery store and try to eat all the healthy organic fruits and vegetables you can find, but it is an unbelievable amount you have to eat and it is cost prohibitive over time.  That is why I choose something I could continue to do on a regular basis and that was more affordable for me.  This helps more than the majority of the medications I have tried over the years, some with serious side effects and high co-payments.  I have even replaced some of my meals with their products which has helped keep down the cost.

One of the first things I noticed when I went on my massive crazy dose of antioxidants was an improvement of my sleep.  I still struggle with getting to sleep, but once asleep I am sleeping like a log, something certainly new for me.

Another positive is with the high antioxidant shake that has 21 grams of fiber and is chock full of vitamins and minerals. It was also featured in the American Journal of Bariatric Medicine as the Cocoa Based Diet.  I can be so miserable & unable to get out of bed, have a shake and 30 minutes later I have energy for a time. Not sure if it is the fiber, the vitamins & minerals or the super high antioxidant content.

I am hopeful that the more antioxidants I give my body, the more it will get rid of free radical damage caused by rogue molecules.  And, even better, this cocoa based chocolate diet shake has helped me lose over 60 pounds so far. (See my before & after photo above)  That can't hurt either. Last I checked, eating too much high antioxidant chocolate is not bad for you.  :-)

Lynette's Favorite Shake Recipe:

Honestly I never go without this shake.  My favorite recipe is one with 1/2 frozen banana, 1/2 tsp. peanut butter, 1 cup chopped ice, 1 cup water & 2 scoops of the High-Antioxidant Replacement Shake.  It is a yummy chocolate shake.
